In this project, I was tasked with designing a promotional poster for the Swedish Pastry Championship, with a strong emphasis on studio-style lighting and visual impact. The goal was to create an image that felt modern, appetizing, and professional—suitable for representing a high-level culinary competition.

I approached the project by crafting a high-contrast, minimalist composition that draws immediate attention to the subject: a detailed, stylized pastry centerpiece. The lighting setup was inspired by professional studio photography, using controlled highlights and shadows to enhance texture and form, giving the image a polished and dynamic look.

The 3D modeling was done entirely in Blender, where I built the pastry and supporting elements from scratch. I used procedural texturing techniques with node-based workflows to create realistic surfaces and fine details, such as chocolate, baked crust, and subtle imperfections that add to the realism.

To complete the poster, I made a simple and modern graphic layout that complements the 3D image without distracting from it. Clean typography and a balanced use of space allowed the visual centerpiece to shine while clearly communicating the event’s purpose and identity.
